First Chime - [Action]

[Leaning up against the fountain in the plaza is a girl, a new feather if you will, which is pretty obvious by looking at the white dress she has on.  There's no telling how long she's been out here exactly, but it's been a while considering the fact that she's soaked.  Her blonde hair is sticking to her cheeks and neck, her white wings are slightly darker and heavier from the water and her dress is practically clinging onto her thin legs.

And what's strange is...

...She doesn't appear to be moving.  She doesn't stir nor does she open her eyes.  No matter how long you may stare at her, she just stays like that; sitting on the cold ground, holding something loosely in her hands while the rain pelts her continuously.  Is she sleeping?]

She's right, Beat! You could've waited at least until the rain stopped...

[It looks like she's going to have to keep a closer eye on him to make sure he stays safe. She steps out from under the umbrella and walks over to him, helping him up then dusting off any dirt or leaves that happened to stick to his arms.]

[What are you looking at him for, Shiki? Is there something on his face? Oh god, did the fugly rat-squirrels get something on his face?!]

They were thumpin' 'round and makin' noise with their dumb nuts n' stuff, aight? And Ribbons' chicken kid was squawkin' 'cause of it. Damn noisy....

[He looks down at Rhyme and puts his hands on her shoulders.]

Yo, Rhyme? You aight? You ain't hurt none, are you?

[...right. This is Beat we're talking about. She just sighs loudly and shakes her head.] Sekai squawks no matter what...get used to it. [But then she goes silent to let them have a bonding moment.]

Chicken kid...? [What on earth are you talking about Beat?? You're confusing her!

She gives him a reassuring smile and nods] I'm okay, don't worry! My back hurts a little bit but other than that everything's fine. Shiki found me sleeping back there.

[skaterbrain]

Yeah, Ribbons' got this chicken kid, Sekai. You see 'im soon.

[So other than the back and the weird looks Shiki gives him sometimes, there isn't anything wrong with her. Maybe... He looks up at Shiki.]

...Thanks, yo. For findin' her.

....'m sorry, Rhyme. I wasn't there when you woke up.

[And cue the frantic flailing and shaking her head from behind Rhyme to try and get Beat to shut up.]

Um...yeah! Yeah, it wasn't a problem. I mean I saw her right by the fountain and it was raining and gross and...you know. We can't just leave her hanging.

Oh... well okay then!

[Rhyme shakes her head too but only to shake off his apology] It's fine, don't worry about it. What matters is that we're all here together again, right Shiki?
